Fuqua Center for
Late-Life Depression

Late-Life Depression Care in Your Neighborhood

The mission of the Fuqua Center is to improve older adults' access to treatment for depression. Our goal is to increase public awareness and understanding of late-life depression. Through care and education, we hope to de-stigmatize mental illness.

The center was created in 1999 with a gift from the J. B. Fuqua Foundation. Together with the Geriatric Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic, we provide comprehensive care for late-life depression.

Our center of excellence offers a variety of psychiatric services for seniors, including:

  • Inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care
  • Peer support
  • Therapy
  • Preventive care
  • Chronic disease care
